I worked on the High Street Heritage Action Zone programme in Wednesbury, funded by Historic England, which invites residents to share its histories and stories and to collectively imagine possibilities for its future.

Delivering the cultural programme involved collaborating with a ‘Working Group’ made up of local authorities, businesses and community partners to co-create activities, festivals, processions and exhibitions that support public realm improvements; management of creative direction, establishing project aims, objectives, milestones and outputs that align with stakeholders; providing regular evaluation reports to funders.

I co-curated High Street Portraits, a photography exhibition by Marta Kochanek, depicting shop and businesses owners in the town of Wednesbury.
